Today’s Terror News In Israel

A few of today’s headlines pertaining to the ongoing terror attacks in Israel:

A 60-year-old man was stabbed near Jerusalem’s Lion Gate by an 18-year-old Palestinian boy. After a long manhunt for the terrorist, Police found and arrested the boy who confessed to carrying out the attack. Another minor was arrested overnight for assisting the stabber.

Smuggling attempt foiled: Security forces foiled an attempt to smuggle four tons of chemicals that can be used to manufacture long-rang rockets, the security establishment announced Tuesday.

An IDF court on Tuesday convicted 16-year-old Palestinian Morad Bader Abdullah Adais of the January killing of Israeli mother of six Dafna Meir.

A resident of East Jerusalem was reportedly arrested on suspicion of aiding the terrorist who killed an American tourist in Jaffa in March. Muhammad Awieda, who is in his 30s, is suspected of driving the stabber Bashar Massalha from the West Bank city of Qalqilya to Tel Aviv.

It is clear the intifada attacks have not cooled down yet and that Israel’s government and security need to do more to protect its civilians by quelling Hamas’ leadership and implementing harsher punishments to terrorists and their immediate family members.
