Azaria’s conviction is a sign of the deep controversies inside Israeli society between the small Left-leaning judicial/media elite and the majority of the Israeli society.

This soldier should not have been put on trial. He did what was right. I am tired of
people praising the terrorist and condemning Israel. Israel has proven that they are
a peace loving nation but will not be left alone by the muslims and some arabs.
This brave soldier should be returned to duty and praised for eliminating the
terrorist who had just attacked people. If I had the means I would bring him to the US and give him a place to live. God is on your side Azaria, to me you are a hero.
