Nearly 100 terror attacks this week leave one Jew murdered and six injured.
This week as almost every week there were dozens of terror attacks of varying severity not reported in most major media outlets. We report on these silenced events to present a fuller picture of the reality in Israel and balance the picture presented to innocent readers abroad. We hope that by reporting these incidents we can raise awareness so that actions can be taken to rectify this problem and improve reality in the Jewish State.
This past week (January 22nd- January 28th) there were over 90 terror attacks recorded in the ‘Silent Intifada’ updates on Hakol Hayehudi. These attacks included shootings, stabbings, and a number of incidents of throwing of stones and firebombs at vehicles and homes. The attacks left one Jew murdered and six injured.
Shlomit Krigman was murdered on Monday Jan. 25th when two Arabs penetrated the town of Beit Horon and stabbed her. They also stabbed another woman who was injured moderately and whose condition has improved since the attack, thank G-d. Near the site of the attack, three improvised explosive devices were also discovered. These were apparently also to be used in the attack.
On Sunday Jan. 24th a Jewish man was injured in a shooting near Dolev in western Binyamin. He was driving in his vehicle with his wife and children, who thankfully were not injured. In total six shots struck the vehicle. Also on Sunday, Arabs from Gaza fired several rockets towards towns in the Negev.
On Wednesday Jan. 27th a 17 year old Arab from Bir Naballah stabbed Mendy Rivkin at a gas station in Givat Zeev. Rivkin was seriously injured and was taken to the Shaarei Tzedek hospital with wounds to his stomach and significant blood loss. Doctors managed to stabilize his condition, but he remains in intensive care. His name for prayers in Menachem Mendel ben Yehudit.
