From Moshe Rabbeinu until present day, the Nation of Israel has always had Tzaddikim to transmit the Torah to the nation. They are our Temple and heart of the nation. In truth each of us in our own lives acts as a Tzaddik, a temple, or an engine for the light of G-D in our world.
