Israel’s Third Election and the Connection to the Final Redemption

The Redemption has always been a Jewish event. While it’s true the implications of such event will ripple outward across the world, the Redemption is one where authentic Jewish sovereignty is restored over the entire Land of Israel with the focus being the rebuilding of the Holy Temple on Har HaBayit, the Temple Mount.

The coming election, the third in one year stands as a transformative event for Israel. While there is an assumption of the miraculous concerning the events connected to the Redemption, Jewish eschatological understanding sees history and the unfolding rectification of events surrounding the Jewish return and full redemption within the confines of the physical world. This is because for us the physical world is not some barrier standing between the Creation and the Creator, but rather a means for the Creator to actively converse with the Creation. It is an expression of the Divine will itself.

This is why the events we are witnessing, despite many being political in nature are showing us how the Redemption is unfolding in front of us.

In order for Knesset Yisrael, the cosmic Israel to be properly expressed through its vessel, which is the Nation of Israel here in the physical, tools for this expression must be rectified. Since the beginning of the State, the Erev Rav, better known as the Deep State has effectvely used Israeli bureaucracy to block this rectification process. Despite this, the forces of Redemption have been able to push forward and have now left the Deep State with just two bastions of control – the courts and the media/entertainment industry.

So how is this election connected to the toppling of the Deep State?

The coup attempt against Prime Minister Netanyahu has set up an interesting turn of events for the entire governing structure of the State of Israel.

Three dates stand out for this unprecedented third election.

  1. Tomorrow, the 26th of December: Primary in Likud between Bibi Netayahu and Gidon Saar
  2. 31st of December: Tentative hearing in the Supreme Court on whether the Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is legally able to make a coalition even if he has the 61 seat block to do so after the 2nd of March
  3. 2nd of March: Israel’s election date, which begins on the 6th of Adar and ends at night, which is the 7th of Adar, the Yartzheit of Moshe Rabbeinu

Deeper Meaning Explained

Tomorrow Netanyahu should win handidly and if he wins by a large margin the assumption is that this will send a message to the Deep State that their attempts to topple the Prime Minister from within have failed.

The Deep State’s next move will most likely be to render the Prime Minister unable to form a coalition according to the law even if he can. This would in theory end Bibi’s political career, but the Prime Minister would certainly push on with increased support on the right, which may make the difference in getting his block over the magic 61 seats needed. After all, if the Supreme Court rules that way it would prove the claims that the Deep State is attempting a coup, because why else would the court step in like that.

This will set up a situation on the night of the election and the day after which is Moshe Rabbeinu’s Yartzheit, a time when the light of Redemption begins to descend that the President will have to decide to either listen to the Supreme Court and pick someone else or ultimately decide to follow the will of the people, thus breaking the hegemony of the Deep State once and for all.

Of course, President Reuven Rivlin has never been known as a revolutionary and so one should expect a complete breakdown in the government.

This leads us to Purim, which is a mere 8 days after the election. Rebbe Nachman famously teaches that “in the past all beginnings are connected to Pesach, but now they are connected to Purim.”

Whether the stalemate continues or not, the Redemption or a major stage in it appears to be finally upon us.

Redemption Now: 70 Years is Up, A New Beginning is Upon Us

The number 70 is a key number in the Torah and the Tanach. It is spoken about in Daniel as well as Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) in relation to a span of time concerning the first exile.

“For thus said the LORD: When Babylon’s seventy years are over, I will take note of you, and I will fulfill to you My promise of favor—to bring you back to this place.” Jeremiah 29-10

While it is clear that the 70 years of Babylonian exile ended with the return of the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland, it is not clear how this fits into our current Redemption.

In tractate Taanit 23a of the Babylonian Talmud, the famous Honi Hamaagal slept 70 years .

“Rabbi Yohanan said: “This righteous man [Honi] was troubled throughout the whole of his life concerning the meaning of the verse, ‘A Song of Ascents: When the Lord brought back those that returned to Zion, we were like dreamers’ (Psalms 126:1). [Honi asked] Is it possible for seventy years to be like a dream? How could anyone sleep for seventy years?”One day Honi was journeying on the road and he saw a man planting a carob tree. He asked, “How long does it take [for this tree] to bear fruit?” The man replied: “Seventy years.” Honi then further asked him: “Are you certain that you will live another seventy years?” The man replied: “I found [already grown] carob trees in the world; as my forefathers planted those for me so I too plant these for my children.”Honi sat down to have a meal and sleep overcame him. As he slept a rocky formation enclosed upon him which hid him from sight and he slept for seventy years. When he awoke he saw a man gathering the fruit of the carob tree and Honi asked him, “Are you the man who planted the tree?” The man replied: “I am his grand-son.” Thereupon Honi exclaimed: “It is clear that I have slept for seventy years.”

Based on the above the Talmud connects the 70 years of sleep or dreaming to the span of exile.

Yet, when is this 70 years where it will seem that we are in a dream? Honi’s story takes place after the return from Babylon, so it must be referring to a future time. According to deeper sources the 70 years will be at the End of Days, but how do we calculate this span of time?

One possibility is to take the date of the armistice agreement with Jordan, which most recognize as the concretization of the State of Israel. This date on the Hebrew calendar is the 4th of Nissan 5709.

70 years from that date would be 4th of of Nissan 5779. This is the very date that the first election in this now three election cycle occurred. It is essentially the last time anything about the State we have come to “depend on” went according to plan. From that date onward no new government has been formed. It is now very obvious that the 70 years between the armistice and the election in April (Nissan) of the past year marks the 70 years spoken about at the End of Time. It is this span of time that “will seem like a dream.”

Like all dreams, one must eventually wake up to the truth. Yet, like all dreams one never wakes up easily. This is the chaos we are in. It is chaos that will lead to new order as we wake up from the dream of the last 70 years.

Interestingly, the Prime Minister’s life has spanned this very time period and in many ways his triumph in politics and success at guiding Israel out of the darkness of its rebirth into a focal point once again of world history is coming to an end within the chaos that has ensued after the 70 year mark. It is neither tragic nor preventable as we have reached a point where the Creator is ready to push us however unwilling we are to the next stage of the Redemption.

When the Lord brought back those that returned to Zion, we were like dreamers’

We may not know what it is like to live outside of our dream. After all we have lived in a perpetual nightmare for nearly 2,000 years until the Armistice agreement of 1949 and then our nightmare became a dream. We have held onto this dream, not ready to waken and we may not be ready, but it appears the Creator has other plans.

This year has been chaotic and in many ways as the dream dissipates the chaos will grow. However, like all chaos this one too will lead to a new order. Only then will we be ready.

Will the Coming Election Be Israel’s Final One?

Barring any last minute surprises, Israel is heading to an unprecedented third election in the span of one year. The State has always been seen as an anchor and foundational necessity for the survival of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel and around the world.

With increased chaos within the structural underpinnings of the State, restlessness abounds. Why is their ongoing chaos in the state? This is due to the real fear of the establishment that it’s grip it has had over the State is falling.

Who is the Establishment?

The establishment consists of three forces, the elected, the courts, and the media. While the revisionist zionists, now led by Likud have over the last 40 years consistently controlled the first branch – “the elected,” the true center of power has always rested with Israel’s Deep State – the courts and media.

Mencahem Begin, hero and leader of the Irgun – who together with his colleagues Israel Eldad, Yitzhak Shamir, and Natan Yellen Mor of the Lechi succeeded in driving out the British, assumed that it would only be a matter of time post his victory for the leadership of the State where his successors would be able to finally rid it of the socialist junta that had implanted itself in Israel.

He was wrong. Elected officials in Israel have very little power other than control over the army and budgets. While it is true “the elected” which has been mostly the Likud and its satellite parties in recent years have succeeded in settling large areas of Judea and Samaria, that was never the real conflict between the movements.

Israel’s Deep State, led by the grandchildren of Palmach officers and secular Ashkenazi elitists will not let traditional Jews, rightists, and their supporters truly run the State. As Israel Eldad told Begin himself: “They rather destroy it.”

This is the real reason for the current destabilization in the State.

The Reordering Has Begin

The current chaos within the established governmental structure here in Israel will only lead to an overt change in the system. Ultimately, the system is built on a non-Redemptive model, one that stems from a parliamentary British styled system, which is far removed from its Jewish roots.

This may very well be the last election before the vessels of Davidic rule begin to be revealed. These are vessels that must be set up to contain the light of the Creator in the Kingdom of G-D here in the Land of Israel.

The original system of the Israelites and Judeans, in its ideal form, was always a mixture between a weak decentralized monarchy (excluding the 10 tribes of the North), religious libertarianism excluding those cases of national importance, with power residing locally.

We have had 70 years of pseudo socialist and centralized parliamentarian rule, with a judicial junta presiding over it. Our success has been despite all of this interference. If this election will be worth it at all, it must address the rebuilding of the Israeli governmental structure with a different format completely – one that is Redemptive and aligned with our authentic roots.

Can We Fix the Vessels of Redemption Within the State of Israel?

Everything in the physical world can be used as a vessel to either draw or contain Divine Light or the opposite to block it. After all, the Creator seeks to always shine his Will on all of the Creation. The State of Israel as a tool for renewed Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel can either be used to complete the process of Redemption or the opposite and stall it. The chaos we are now witnessing in the State is nothing more than the vessel itself as it is structured coming to a close. The tools that came into being when it was established were either incomplete or fashioned in a way in which the light from above could not be contained.

When the State of Israel was created, it was done so as a hasty declaration and a response to the invasion of five Arab armies. True, the Zionist movement had been moving towards an independent state, but the invasion gave the Mapai a chance to take full control over the Zionist project. This had been Ben Gurion’s aim from the beginning. After all, the usurpation of the formal Zionist movement did not give them control over the street. The Revisionist Zionist movement, through the oratory and ideology of Valdamir Jabotinsky were far more beloved in the eyes of most Jews in Israel.

It was only when the British decided to end their control over the Holy Land due to the Jewish rebellion led by Menachem Begin’s Irgun and the late Avraham Stern’s Lechi that Ben Gurion and others used this as a pretext to take full control over the Zionist movement.

In taking control, the Labor Zionists were able to rewrite the history books, glorifying their leadership as well as injecting Western governing concepts into the body-politic. The parliamentary structure, so unstable and not suitable for a Jewish State was used. The courts were structured in a way to enable continuous Labor and internationalist control. Any chance for a true indigenous and authentic Jewish expression so desired by the initial waves of Jewish pioneers as well as Jews that had already been living in Israel for thousands of years, were stamped out to make way for an internationalist, communist controlled bureaucracy.

Not About Redemption

The Labor Zionists never saw the State as anything but a tool to establish their long term control over the Holy Land. Any thought that the State of Israel that had risen was meant to be a vessel for the Redemptive process was an anathema for them. True, Ben Gurion paid homage to the return and could have harbored positive feelings to the idea, but the superstructure of control that was created painted a different story.

Begin’s 1977 Revolution Not Enough

When Menachem Begin surprised the Labor establishment by breaking their electoral control of the state, the Revisionists as well as the Jews of Middle Eastern and North African descent believed that a revolution was underway.

While there was a cosmetic change, Begin and Shamir after him never put full energy into the areas of true Labor control – the courts, economy, and the media.

It was not until Prime Minister Netanyahu came along that the media or at least some of it began to change as well as the economy. As things began to open up and the disastrous effects of Oslo felt, the populace turned its back on the Two State-Solution as well as social welfare programs championed by the Left.

With the current political stalemate in Israel showing no signs of letting up, one must take a look at the entire structure of the State itself within the context of how it was formed and understand that the system is begging to be changed in order to take the Redemptive Process to the next level.

Rav Kook teaches the following in Orot HaTechiya 28:

“The holiness that is expressed from within the physical is the holiness of the Land of Israel. When the Shechina (Divine Presence) descended into exile with the Nation of Israel, holiness stood in opposition to the physical. But holiness which battles the physical is not a complete holiness. It is necessary that holiness become subsumed within the Divine from above, which leads to a holiness that is expressed through the physical itself. This is the foundation of repairing the entire World.”

Ultimately, the vessels of Redemption which flow from Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel were never seen as conduit for the Holiness of our Divine mission in this world. The two remained disconnected and so 72 year later the State itself requires a true fusion of the Vessels within it to the Holiness we seek to draw into the World.

The light of Redemption can be harnessed within the State of Israel, but the concept that this is what is necessary must be injected into the conversation. The Left would like to continue its subversive control over the institutions and the Right would like to pretend it only cares about being a capitalistic Western Democracy, but neither can stand up against the current wave of yearning for something beyond what we have. The only thing missing is the right leader to clarify the path ahead and by doing so repair the vessels of Redemption strewn out in front of us.

Is this the end of Mashiach ben Yosef?

The ruling elites, the sacred establishers of Israel’s bureaucracy are coming with their knives sharpened – closing in on Bibi Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. After all it is their state – their establishment and not his. This was made clear to Menachem Begin, the man who Bibi’s father served as secretary, when David Ben Gurion ordered Yitzhak Rabin to fire on the Atalena destroying it, the ammunition in it, and killing many passengers – most of whom were Holocaust survivors. The real target had been Begin who made it out alive.

Israel Eldad had warned Begin not to trust the Mapai, the forerunner of the Labor. “Menachem, do you really think they will just let you walk in with enough weapons to take control? It is their state not yours and they rather destroy it than hand it over to you.”

Eldad was right of course. The destruction of the Altalena led to the fall of Jerusalem since the ammunition and weapons Begin was bringing in would have led to its capture.

Why Netanyahu?

When Avichai Mandebilt declared his intention to indict the Prime Minister, he essentially paved the way for the leftist super-structure, Israel’s Deep State to begin the process of finally wresting control of the country from the street it lost it to when Begin surprised the parochial classes and Laborites in 1977.

True, there have been right wing leaders before, but each eventually bent to the will of the courts and the media, but not Netanyahu – he has always been smarter than the left. The street, the disadvantaged, the religious, the settler, the sefardi, they have all sensed Netanyahu was different.

True, Netanyahu has not always acted the way any one group would want, but changed the face of Israel, steering it away from failed policies and turned it into a powerhouse – a true global leader. The Prime Minister has been a thorn in the side of the Left, because he mainstreamed positions that were at one time unthinkable, steering a shaky ship after Olmert went down and turned the State around in the face of tremendous systemic opposition .

The Rise of Mashiach ben Yosef

At the End of Days, a leader will arise that will be a forerunner to Mashiach ben David. This forerunner is dubbed Mashiach ben Yosef, whose whole aim is to safeguard the Jewish people in the Land of Israel in a material sense. His power and ability is to utilize the physical vessels available and harness them for the good of the Nation of Israel while protecting the nation from harm.

The Mashiach be Yosef is also a concept or a movement, represented by thousands of “redeemers” since the birth of the Zionist movement. This movement has been encapsulated by the State – the one which has been uplifted by the current Prime Minister in a way never previously imagined.

Along with Mashiach ben Yosef, there is the Erev Rav named for the mixed multitudes that left Egypt with the Nation of Israel. At the End of Days, it is said that these mixed multitudes will be control of the Land of Israel and ultimately destroy the Mashiach ben Yosef, which is both the leader himself and the physical restoration of the Nation of Israel in the Land of Israel.

Sometimes we think Redemption and we feel the End of Days is sometime in the future, but it seems now we are at that point.

Predicted in the Bible

“And I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplications. And they shall look to me because of those who have been thrust through [with swords], and they shall mourn over it as one mourns over an only son and shall be in bitterness, therefore, as one is embittered over a firstborn son.On that day there shall be great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the Valley of Megiddon.” Zechariah 12:10-11

The first Ashkenazi chief rabbi of British Palestine Rav Kook wrote the following in 1904 as a eulogy on the occasion of Theodor Herzl’s death:

The characteristics of nationalism was prominent in Ahab, who had great love for Israel. He followed in the footsteps of his father, Omri, who founded a city in the land of Israel. Scriptural commentators said: Everyone receives a portion in the world to come. ‘Gilead is mine’ refers to Ahab, who fell in Gilead. At the height of battle, despite being shot through with arrows, Ahab hid his injury so as not to alarm his soldiers. Such courageous spirit is derived from tremendous, abundant love. He also honoured the Torah, for he outwardly preserved the nations dignity in the eyes of Ben-Haddad. Nonetheless, he did not recognise the value of the Torah and of God’s unique holiness, in which Israel’s entire advantage lies. Therefore, he followed the ways of Jezebel and the despicable customs of other nations to the degree that they then prevailed over the Zeitgeist. 

In contrast, Josiah elevated the spiritual aspect as no king before or after him. As the text testifies, “And before him there was no king like him, who returned to the Lord with all his heart and soul and might, in accordance with the entire Torah of Moses; nor did any like him arise after him.” To that end, he wanted Israel to have no relationship with the nations of the world. He therefore did not heed the words of Jeremiah, who advised him in God’s name to allow the Egyptians to pass through Israel’s territory.

Thus, Ahab and Josiah combine the two aspects of Joseph and Judah, the power of the Messiah’s of the House of Joseph and the House of Judah. When the people are ready, the distortion of each separate dynasty will be removed, for in the times of the Messiah the two kingdoms will join together and come to fully realise the full potential of their power as a chosen nation. At that time, with this reunification, the mourning [in Jerusalem] will also reach a climax, for what was lost and the distance from true fulfilment will finally be recognised, and the mourning for both Ahab and Josiah will combine and grow exponentially. [This great mourning] will serve as a moral that [both kingdoms] must combine their powers in order to create the balance that will lead to the greatest general good.”

What we are witnessing now is the tearing apart of an approach to make way for something far bigger. After all, Bibi and those within the Revisionist Zionist movement tried to balance between a redemptive vision of the state and an out of date nationalism that relied on secular concepts rather than the Torah and Jewish faith. In this case, the Erev Rav were never done away with because in order to destroy them, the Revisionists would have to rely on a force beyond their cognitive abilities. This force is the light of the Mashiach ben David, which is above time and space.

At the End of Days Mashiach ben Yosef falls, which leads to the next stage of the Redemptive process. Of course this comes with chaos and fear, because all of us no matter what camp we have been in, understand that what has been in existence cannot truly continue as is. Netanyahu’s fall is the fall of the State as we know it.

How the road to the final Redemption will play out now is anyone’s guess, but one thing is certain – it will be a surprise.

The Land and Nation Are One

Deep inside the Nation of Israel there is a yearning to be home. Home is not just a piece of real estate or a space for a national enterprise, but rather forms an intrinsic component of the Nation’s being. This profound realization that the Land of Israel is not only a place to live, but one which is interwoven within the Children of Israel’s psyche is foundational to who we are and why as a Nation we cannot simply let go of pieces of our homeland.

Each member of the Nation of Israel, each Yid, each Jew has the potential to find himself, his or her complete self only within the boundaries of the Land of Israel.

This unshakeable bond, this inner calling, and pull home are all really about being drawn in the most organic way back to a state of self authenticity. This state, this inner geulah, redemption was lost or hidden away during the exile and now in an evolution of national spiritual awareness is being uncovered in the Land of Israel.

But why is this process taking so long? After all the Yidden, the Jewish people have been returning back to the Land of Israel, their home at increasing numbers for over two centuries. If this process is taking this long then one may think that we are not natural here, but that is not the case.

The return of the Jewish people, the Nation of Israel, to their home unlocked an immediate burst of light, not felt since we held sovereignty here nearly two thousand years ago, yet this light had no kelim, no vessels able to hold it and so they shattered and broke.

Being unable to contain this light, the inspiration, the development of an integrated national consciousness has taken time only to be felt now.

Why now?

The national enterprise rushed home, drawn to fulfilling the yearning of their innermost desires to be once again one with themselves and their land. However, a process of such magnitude needed the direction of the Tzaddikim, the spiritual leaders of the Jewish people. This light, this direction carved out of the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and his followers was the missing link that could smooth the Yidden’s return.

So now that the thirst for an inner redemption which was activated by coming home is finally reaching its peak, the Baal Shem Tov’s light has become the central force behind the awakening and the completion of the inner return of the Nation of Israel to their Land and ultimately the realization that the Nation of Israel and the Land of Israel are one indivisible whole.

ISRAEL AFTER 70: From National to Global Rectification

“When the Lord returned the captives of Zion, we were like people in a dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter,​ and our tongue with exultatio​n: then said they among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us; so we rejoiced!​ Bring back our captives,​ O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Though he goes on his way weeping, bearing the store of seed, he shall come back with joy, bearing his sheaves. ” – Psalm 126

We have come home.

After 70 years since the British left the Land of Israel (which they sinisterly called Palestine) with their tails between their legs, the State of Israel has risen from the dreams and hopes of the Jewish people around the world to become a global leader in so many areas.

Against all odds and in a miraculous fashion the State of Israel has become a beacon to so many around the world. The number 70 is a transitional number.  It represents the end of one era and an entry to another.  After all the first exile of the Jewish people lasted 70 years exactly as prophesied. King David lived 70 years, which is seen as a paradigm for the concept of the years of kingship. 70 is also the number of root nations in the world as well as being the numerical value of Gog uMagog. The sages taught that there are 70 faces of Torah.

So What’s Next?

The Nation of Israel is meant to lead the world to a new era.  We of course are not quite there yet, but the feeling that we are heading to something incredible is all around us.  The challenge for Israel is that transitioning from a country at siege yet extremely successful to one which takes its success and transforms the world may result in altering Israel as we know it.

Anyone with eyes wide open can see that the world as we know it is collapsing.  The paradox of new advances that are literally changing how people live to the chaos across the globe with super powers preparing to destroy each other can be overwhelming.

Despite the potential carnage, there is light and hope.

It is at this juncture that Israel is meant to lead. The broken world we live in is only broken because we have yet to fix it.

Rebbe Nachman of Breslov said the following: “If you believe that you can destroybelieve that you can build.” 

Israel has all the ingredients to lead the world from its darkness to a state of light, yet something is holding us back, keeping us from transforming the chaotic storm winds into a new order. For 70 years the State of Israel and the Zionist movement has been rooted in classic Western nationalism. But that in its core can only take the Jewish people in Israel so far.  Our job is to bring a new, rectified order to the world. One that merges the physical and spiritual together.

Achievements in technology cannot be divorced from the traditions of the Torah.  These advances are part of a holistic redemptive process that sees an Israeli experience as one that blends multiple forces together. If we think of advances in technology as only a “tikkun olam”  (rectification of the world) in a physical sense then we are lacking a wider perspective.   Technology is a tool or vessel for the spirit or will of the Creator.

The State of Israel as an entity is a tool for a global redemption.  It is at one hand the vessel which was formed to allow the reconstitution of the people of Israel in their ancient ancestral land as prophesied more than 2,500 years ago.  This has happened in miraculous fashion, but the State of Israel is far more than that.  It is now transitioning into the activated tool for the will of “Knesset Yisrael” the mystical concept which expresses the rectified Israeli Collective, whose mission it is to ultimately repair the broken world, which still awaits its full rectification and direction.

Rebbe Nachman teaches in Likutey Moharan that the Jewish people’s role is to repair the “supernal altar” of the nations.  This means that we are to turn them away from worshipping a false notion of spiritual connection and recalibrate their yearning for a divine relationship to one which is an authentic personal relationship to the one above or better expressed, the one within. We can only do this by example.

The vessels to spread the light of the Creator have been built in the first 70 years of the State of Israel.  It is now time for Israel to rise to the occasion and steer the world out of the darkness and chaos it finds itself in.

 

 

Is This the Last War?

Whether or not the attack in Douma, Syria by Assad’s forces was really a chemical weapon may never be fully proven, but the attack itself appears to have finally pushed the proverbial trigger of war that has been building up for the past few years.

From Russia to the USA, China to Taiwan, Pakistan to India, and Iran to Israel, the global structure we have grown accustom to is breaking apart.

This may be the final war.  A war so terrible that it resets our reality and opens the possibility of giving us a new beginning.

Afterall, the war we are about to witness on the outside is merely a projection of the inner chaos which rules our individual and family lives.  We have grown disconnected from one another and from the Creator and in doing so created a cultural and spiritual vortex of emptiness. It is this emptiness which is now becoming manifest in the world around us and it is this emptiness which is leading the world as we know it to become shattered like our own personal lives.

Our sages teach us that in the year the Moshiach will be revealed, the nations of the world will agitate one another leading to a final destructive war where a majority of the world is destroyed.  About this time it says that the Nation of Israel will run from side to side in fear and G-D will say: “Do not fear for everything that I have done is for your benefit… your time of redemption is now.” (Yalkut Shemoni)

We cannot imagine the depths of spiritual decay we have all fallen to and yet no matter how far down we fall, we can rise to unbelievable heights.  That is if we are unbound from the world around us. We must want and be willing to rise and reconnect to who and what we are meant to be.

It is true, the world is about to enter moment of extreme shaking. Yet, this shaking is necessary if we are to be prepared for the next stage of the redemption process. Chaos leads to order. If this is to be the last war, then the reordering after the chaos must begin within each of us.  We must choose good over evil, the will of G-D over our own wants and desires.
