TERROR ALERT: Why JFK’s False Alarm Should Be A Wake Up Call

After it had become clear that no shots were actually fired in JFKs Terminal 8, a collective sigh of relief descended on New York and America.  With all of the tense civil disturbances over the summer and increased terror attacks in Europe, an attack on JFK would essentially thrown a chaotic world over the cliff.

No attack means life can go on, yet one should not sit down so comfortably yet.  Here’s why the false report is just as dangerous or perhaps more dangerous than the real thing.

What the false report of shooting did was essentially expose how vulnerable one of busiest airports in the world is. Afterall the report of shots being fired not only emptied the terminal, but it grounded flights.  This cost airlines billions.  One false report paralyzed part of an entire airport. Know that ISIS is watching the security reaction and learning.

The question officials must ask themselves is how prepared are they for the real thing? Eventually there will be an attack.  That is how things go. So when it happens what will law enforcement to do? Right now New Yorkers and air travellers have returned to the complacent lifestyle most Americans are used to, yet if they don’t take these threats more seriously the good old days will be long gone. Terror is a state of mind not just physical harm.  The reaction by the security services and panicked travellers exhibit a state of terror, with or without shots being fired.

BREAKING NEWS: Final Decision Pending on Removing Arab Squatters from Susiya

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman is set to make a final decision in knocking down multiple makeshift structures erected by Arabs on the ancient Jewish village of Susiya.

These Arabs claim to be the real land owners and have caused multiple problems with local Jews and the State of Israel.  The problem for their case is even a usually sympathetic Supreme Court has ruled that the State must knock the structures down as no clear proof can be shown for there ever being an Arab village there.

“Surveys of villages and populations conducted by the British Mandatory powers in 1945, which mention all of the villages in the area and even some of the inhabitants, prove there is no hint of the existence of an Arab village named Susiya,” says Josh Hasten, spokesman for Regavim an Israeli NGO dedicated to ensuring Israeli land laws are followed especially in the Arab sector. “More recently aerial photos obtained by Regavim from 1999 show nothing resembling a village in that area. An identical photo from 2013 shows how squatters have infiltrated the locale.”

So will Lieberman knock the buildings and tents down? Not if Obama has anything to do it. The State Department has already issued a warning that “there will be severe consequences” if he goes through with it.

Why Does Obama Care About Susiya?

If there was ever an archeological site that destroys the myth making of the Palestinian Arab population it is Susiya. The village was inhabited continuously by Jews up until the early 8th Century. It was clearly a large commercial hub for the Southern Hebron Hills, showing that it was in fact the Jews that remained the majority population up until the Muslim conquest.

This narrative supports Israel’s solid claim to being the sole indigenous culture in Israel, only being superseded by the conquest of Islam over the Holy land.

PEAK AMERICA: Leftist Jew Defaces Hallel Ariel Memorial at Queens Synagogue

The Sons of Israel Congregation of Long Island City in Queens had a bit of a shock over Shabbat. A pro-Palestinian leftist Jew defaced a memorial sign the congregation had put up in memory of 13-year-old Hallel Ariel killed over a month ago in her sleep in Kiryat Arba, by a 17 year old Arab terrorist.

One of the shul goers caught the vandal in the act nearby. The vandal began to shout at the congregant: “How dare you support an occupation who treats the Palestinian’s like the Nazi’s who persecuted my grandfather’s family in Europe.”

Before the altercation could get worse, a woman across the street ran over to help the congregant and chased the vandal away.

Incidents across America, especially on college campuses have increased as young students have bought into pro-Palestinian propaganda. This incident is especially troubling, because it took place at a place of worship and the perpetrator was a fellow Jew.

BREAKING NEWS: Arabs Riot on the Temple Mount Because Jews Tried to Pray

Temple Mount Riot

Tisha B’Av is the collective day of morning for the Jewish people worldwide in which they remember the destruction of both Temples that stood on the spot where the Muslims built the Dome of th Rock. In commemoration of today’s tragedy Jews ascended the Temple Mount as they always do, but when they tried praying quietly they set off a riot that terminated Jewish prayer for the rest of the day on the site.

The video depicts the mayhem that ensued as the soldiers and police trie to calm the raging Arabs who violently oppose any Jewish presence on the site. Centuries past, when the Dome of the Rock was first built by the Umayyad Caliphate, the Jews of Jerusalem were actually invited up to pray on the Temple Mount and the Jewish priests were in charge of lighting the building’s lights. When the Umayyad Caliphate fell, the practice ended and Jews were restricted from going up.

WAR DRUMS: Russia Deploys Surface to Air Missiles in Crimea

Russia deployed its advanced S-400 anti-aircraft  missile system to Crimea as tensions rise in the border area with Ukraine. Reports have said at least two Russian have been killed near Ukraine increasing the likelihood of some sort of clash.

As the traditional Ukrainian government was forced from office by a Western backed coup in 2014, Crimea voted to separate from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation.  Putin has since militarily controlled the strategic peninsula.

With Russia seen as an emerging power both regionally and globally, NATO has gone to great lengths to reassure allies that it will defend them.  Despite assurances, each move Putin makes sows doubt in areas that belonged to the former Soviet Union.

Already in July NATO stated it was going to bolster its military presence in the Baltic and Eastern Poland. The challenge is that NATO risks pushing Russia to continuously strengthen its presence with manuevers in Eastern Europe.  Many observers feel that the West would achieve more by trying to lower the intensity instead of committing to more troops. So far this sort of advice has not been heeded.
