One Jew was murdered and 17 Jews were injured in over 150 terror attacks this week.
This week as almost every week there were dozens of terror attacks of varying severity not reported in most major media outlets. We report on these silenced events to present a fuller picture of the reality in Israel and balance the picture presented to innocent readers abroad. We hope that by reporting these incidents we can raise awareness so that actions can be taken to rectify this problem and improve reality in the Jewish State.
This past week (Jan. 15th- Jan. 21st) there were over 150 terror attacks recorded in the ‘Silent Intifada’ updates onHakol Hayehudi. Among these were two shootings, two stabbings, a number of incidents of arson, and many incidents of throwing of stones and firebombs at individuals and property.
Dafna Meir HY”D, was murdered this week by an Arab who penetrated the town of Otniel in Har Hevron. The Arab youth from the neighboring village snuck into Otniel and stabbed Dafna in front of her daughter. She leaves behind her husband and six children.
In total 17 Jews were injured in various terror attacks. In a shooting near Tul Karem, an IDF soldier was injured.
In a stabbing in the town of Tekoa, Michal Froman, a resident of the town was injured.
Last Shabbat (Jan. 16th) Arabs shot at Jews in the town of Hevron, but did not injure anyone.
Arabs attempted to infiltrate the towns of Kochav Yaakov and Talmon this week. Attempted stabbings occurred in Jerusalem, at the Shomron army base and in Hawara.
