Obama and Kerry Paid Ransom Money to Iranian Regime to Free Hostages

It has been reported that the Obama administration sent up $400 million to Iran by way of unmarked cargo plane as payment to free the American hostages that Iran had been holding. Although the Administration at the time insisted it was not folding on paying to free the hostages, more and more proof comes out saying otherwise.

This should not come to a surprise as the administration from the beginning of P5 +1 negotiations engaged in a strategy of obfuscation and semantic gymnastics in trying to show the American people and the Israeli government that it was in fact not caving in on its core principles.

With the new information coming to light, there should be no doubt about Obama’s interest in a détente with Iran from the beginning.  The question is, why has Obama been so interested in rapprochement with the Iranian terrorist regime?

Obama believes that there really are no terrorists.  As a follower of historical Marxism, all conflicts are essentially due to class struggles and economic issues. This is why Obama and John Kerry felt from the beginning that Iran just needed enough incentive to first come to the table and then sign onto an agreement.  The problem is, what happens if the incentive Iran is looking for is the destruction of Israel?

Huma Abedin: Yes, Hamas Would Honor Accord on Peace with Israel

The 30 thousand plus Hillary Clinton emails found o WikiLeaks are treasure trove of information.  In 2010 according to one email with the subject: (Reuters) Hamas would honor referendum on peace with Israel, Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s trusted aid and Saudi national answers a back and forth on a reuters article dealing with a Hamas acceptance of an Israeli-Arab peace accord, with just one word: Yes.

One can infer that Huma was giving  credance to naive State Department officials who truly believed and probably still do that Hamas is just a political/social group who at the end of the day will bend.

It is clear if Huma Abedin has changed her mind. This is even after two wars since the email, where Hamas rained rockets down on Israeli populaton centers, but one must assume and believe the US officials think differently now. The question one must ask in assessing whether or not a canidate is particularly pro-Israel or at least supportive of Israeli positions, is if they are surrounded by people who reflect that.

For Hillary to take advice from her Saudi aid on geopolitical manners concerning a country that until recently her country would rather see drown in the Meditereanean seems at the least naive and at the most down right incompetant if not worse.

What will this sort of approach mean for Hillary getting into the White House?  Not much, but if Assange is telling us the truth and there are emails in the next batch that confirm Hillary gaive permisson to fund ISIS then, this email and others provide a perfect background to understanding approach that Hillary ad her staff take with regards to foreign affairs.

Has Israel Asked for Too Much Aid from the USA?

Glenn Greenwald once again goes on another anti-Israel diatribe at the Intercept. His articlelaunches the typical vacuous attacks on Israel’s “occupation” of Judea and Samaria, where Arab Palestinians were encouraged to move to by foreign powers in order to block the Jewish return to their biblical heartland. He then meanders into the meme of Israel being  a wealthy country and circles back to the idea that ultimately Zionist Jews are just after money. All of this is tucked into the neat package of why everyone should oppose US foreign aid to Israel.

Let’s first establish that many Israelis, including this author are opposed to taking American aid.  We appreciate the gesture, but in fact are aware that it comes with far too many strings attached.  Despite what Glenn Greenwald posits in his article, the deal is essentially the same, where as Israel must spend much of its money on America weapons manufacturers as well as rules on how to use weapons and financing.  But this is not why many Israelis are against accepting foreign aid.  At its base foreign aid takes away a country’s ability to act within the confines of doing what’s best for it and its citizens.  In Israel’s case, Israel itself can likely live without the aid and if it does so it would be able to approach its own foreign policy in a neutral and patriotic sense.

So why does Israel accept the aid and if it is so displeasing to America, why does even Obama, Bibi’s erstwhile adversary freely give it?

One word: Control.

The Americans would love not to give Israel the kind of aid it does and although ideas like this have floated around for a while, American intelligence understands that a strong Israel not held back by American aid, could do what it pleases.  Israel could in fact do what it already has started to do and make deals and partnerships with rising powers. It could in fact leave the false two-state narrative behind and annex its biblically mandated land.  With India, China, and many other countries in the east rising, this control becomes very important for the American elite.  Israel is not the Ukraine. It has the largest amount of startups besides Silicon Valley and it boasts a unriveled innovation engine. Keeping Israel in the pocket of the American ruling class is a serious objective for both Republicans and Democrats.

So why does Israel continuously accept the aid if it can do much better on its own?  The answer comes down to money and connections.  There has always been a disturbing dichotomy between the globalist leaning elite in Israel and the typical citizen. The upper tier of the military still sees connections with the American security establishment as vitally important for a career post their military service.  They have good pensions and financial incentives to back US aid to Israel.  The Israeli populace sees very little of this money and instead receives conditions placed on the government’s maneuvarability.

What About Bibi’s Request for Even More Money

Glenn Greenwald points out what only seems like chutzpah on the part of Bibi Netanyahu in asking for even more money. The truth is, that Israeli intelligence provides a lot of unfettered access to Russian, Iranian, and Syrian movements in the Levant and Middle East.  America has by and large outsourced its intelligence gathering to Israel and in doing so, the terms of the agreement must change.  This is far more like a job than it is aid. America, doesn’t and at this point can’t afford to put boots on the ground and so Israel does it for them, giving valuable intelligence on enemy goings and comings that the US can’t get anywhere else.

Like usual Glenn Greenwald gives a half-baked position on an Israel centric issue.  Whether one agrees with US aid for Israel or not, the reasons for opposing it must be built on a solid factual foundation or else the argument risks slipping into old-fashioned antisemitism masked in anti-Zionist propaganda.

Israel Protesting France’s Support For Terrorism

In response to a recent terror attack in a French church, Prime Minister Netanyahu sent his condolences to France during today’s Cabinet meeting. He then pointed out that evidence shows France is one of several European nations providing monetary support to organizations and NGO’s that incite terror and boycotts against Israel.

Meanwhile, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said last week that there is a need for a “thorough review to form a new relationship with French Islam” and that France will take up measures to stop foreign aid to mosques as a new step in the fight against Islamic terror. This is hypocrisy at its best when we find that France is interested in curbing Islamic terror locally but is not hesitant to support Islamic terror in Israel.

“Terror is terror in all places, and incitement is incitement all over the world,” Netanyahu said. “I heard about a discussion that took place last week in the French government about preventing foreign money from organizations that harm French citizens. That sounds familiar to us. We are also concerned about these types of contribution to organizations that reject Israel’s existence.”

This is even more absurd when we find that France need Israel’s help in stopping terror attacks.

Last week, the Israeli Ambassador to France condemned the French initiative to grant honorary citizenship to Marwan Barghouti, a known terrorist responsible for hundreds of deaths.

The questions stands: What does France stand for? Why are they openly supporting terrorism in their own country and abroad?

EU Envoy Lars Faaborg-Andersen: Israel is in Breach of International Law

“In the first 6 months of 2016 alone 91 EU structures in Area C have been demolished. This is more than all of 2015. Since 2009, approximately 170 EU humanitarian structures have been demolished.” -EU Envoy to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen

As the West suffers from a relentless terror campaign, they have decided to band together and focus on the one country that has stood up to the forces of radical Islam. The UN decided to criticise Israel’s housing demolitions focused on destroying the incessant illegal building in the Arab Palestinian sector rampant even in Area C.

The UN and the USA often times ridicules Israeli communities built over the green line as being illegal in international law, but in reality it is the USA, UN, and EU that continuously flaunts internationally agreed upon accords by building withou permit in Area C. These buildings are built with the express purpose to help redefine Area C in favor of the Arab Palestinians.

So with tremendous hipocracy the EU’s Envoy to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen stated: “Some 70% of Area C has been taken for exclusive Israeli use. Near all of the remain 30% is private Palestinian property, but is effectively off limits for Palestinian development.” Lars Faaborg-Andersen, “In the first 6 months of 2016 alone 91 EU structures in Area C have been demolished. This is more than all of 2015. Since 2009, approximately 170 EU humanitarian structures have been demolished.”

So the EU builds illegal buildings in Area C, which is under Israeli control as declared in the Oslo Accords that the EU in fact signed onto and then complains that Israel is breaking international law by destroying the very buildings the EU built illegally.  With logic like that  we now know why Europe can’t seem to find a solution to the increasing amount of terror attacks, migrants, and systemic economic stagnation  throughout a good part of the Euro Zone.
