BREAKING NEWS: Turkey Invades Syria as Next Stage in War Begins

Multiple sources are reporting that Turkish special forces backed by artillery fire and F-16’s have begun a direct military assault on ISIS positions in Northern Syria.  Turkish combat units such as regular infantry and tanks have rolled up to the Syrian border and are preparing to enter sovereign Syrian territory for the first time.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said:

Daesh [ISIS] should be completely cleansed from our borders and we are ready to do what it takes for that.

This change in Turkey’s relationship to the ongoing Syrian civil war is drastic and very well can lead to untold consequences as  Turkey’s goals both align with the anti-ISIS coalition as well as are in conflict with it.  Erdogan often times uses ISIS as a foil to attack Kurdish positions in both Syria and Iraq.  The Turkish government has resigned itself to a Kurdish autonomous zone in Northern Iraq, but when the Syrian Kurds literally declared a federalized autonomous entity in Northern Syria, Turkey knew it had limited time to react before an inevitable Kurdish state arose on its border stretching from the Mediterranean to Iran.

The anti-ISIS particulars behind Turkey’s intensifying an already out of control conflict gives it the wiggle room it needs to invade Syria.  The only question remains is whether Putin agreed to this or not. If he did not, then the Syrian civil war just got a whole lot uglier.

Yet, if this was agreed between Erdogan and Putin beforehand then the Russian leader must have promised Erdogan something big in return for destroying the very group Turkey helped set up in order to make a lot of money off the illegal oil trade.  Of course, Erdogan didn’t do this alone.  US and NATO were at least complicit with the set up of ISIS, a radical Sunni group in Eastern Syria. Using oil as payment to Turkey, NATO and the US were free to establish a blocking force against Iranian advancement, albeit one that has grown out of control.

Now with Turkey’s pivot to Russia, ISIS is more of a hindrance than a help.  So what is the quid pro quo from Russia? Russia’s abandonment of the Kurds makes that an easy answer.

Kurdistan, Biafra Denied Olympic Representation while non-state “Palestine” Gets Team

With eyes focused on the Rio Olympics, the hypocrisy of who gets to participate as a country or even a territory cannot be ignored. When real nations like Kurdistan, Biafra, and even the Lakota are not present because of political concerns, while non-state former terrorists known nowadays as “Palestine” get a team there is a sort of Alice in Wonderland moment at hand.

The same leftist organizations that are so intent on demonizing Israel and relishing in the inclusion of one of the biggest cheerleaders of anti-Jewish incitement in the world fall silent when it comes to the lack of recognition for the truly repressed nations.

Kurdistan is not only an autonomous zone in northern Iraq, but is the largest group of people never to have a defined homeland. With 14.5 million Kurds in Turkey, 6 million in Iran, another 6 million in Iraq, and 2 million in Syria, the Kurds are busy dying fighting ISIS and getting the shaft by the international community. While the Olympics may just be a sporting event, symbolism matters.

The real reason why Kurdistan has never had an Olympic team and will probably be denied one for the forseeable future is Turkey. Erdogan’s nemesis or bogy man is the Kurdish independence movement. Erdogan has used it at opportune times to deflect opponents and consolidate power. With Turkey’s population standing at 76 million, Kurds make up nearly 20% of the total.  This means any weakening towards recognizing a free Kurdistan could potentially rip Turkey apart.

Biafra, a nation in southeast Nigeria was forced by the British colonial masters to merge with Lagos Colony, and Hausaland in 1914 in order to create what is no known as Nigeria.  However, the British put a caveat in the decree that merged the three areas together. The charter would only last 100 years. Since 2014 Biafra has had a legal right to pull away from Nigeria.

One of the biggest reasons why Biafra has not seceded from Nigeria is it still remembers the Biafran war for independence in 1967-1970 that failed miserably and ended with between 3 to 6 million dead Biafrans. Not only that, but Britain is vehemently against an independent Biafra, because it would lose much if its control over Nigeria’s oil, which resides in Biafra as well as the Niger River delta where most of the oil is brought through.

The Lakota and other first world people have never been on the radar for going to the Olympics. Accepting them as an autonomous region would be a blow to America’s artificial narrative of protector of freedom and human rights. Afterall, the United States government has been trying to settle the Lakota’s outstanding claim to their land since the Treaty-of-Fort Laramie in 1868 and the government’s own violation of the treaty in 1877 (through the seizure of the Black Hills). So real is their case, the USA has repeatedly tried to offer a financial package, but the Lakota have turned it down demanding only the return of their land.

With these very real cases of national claims being denied, it is beyond strange that the world still sees it just to focus on a group of people who for the most part were coerced into migrating to the Land of Israel just over a century and half ago and have no defining mutual characteristic among them other than the rampant desire to kill Jews. Palestine was synonymous with Israel until the late arch terrorist appropriated the name in 1964. Until then Arabs of the Levant were Arabs.

In order for the Olympics to shake the corporatist wrappings they have become seen as representing, allowing representation to real national entities instead of false one, would be a great place to start the games’ rehabilitation.

Revelation from a Nigerian: The true story of Buhari, Obama, and their plot to set Turkey on fire

It becomes important now, as we lament our terrible fortune in letting Muhammadu Buhari become our chief executive in government that we should begin to tell ourselves some home truths about what we know of this devil we call our President. I believe this will enable us prepare for the worse as he is prepared to give us the worse, together with his counterpart in the United States of America (USA). I believe also that by informing ourselves, we will be able to counter their moves.

Anyone that knows anything about this Daura man must not hesitate to tell us. That is why I must now write of what I know from my vantage point as man who knows the goings on in the inner circle of Nigerian government. This article contains a lot of information, but my main aim is to reveal the plot by Obama and Buhari to oust Prime Minister Recep Erdogan of Turkey in a coup d’état, and to turn his country into crisis for some roles he has refused to play.

In March 31, this year, during Obama’s last Nuclear Security Summit held in the USA, he commended Buhari before Canadian President, Justin Trudeau – telling him that Buhari was “doing a good job”. It was hard to understand whether Trudeau understood what Obama meant, as many Nigerians did not understand what good job Buhari was doing.

But now the scale has fallen off the eyes of many, even as they now learn of Buhari’s involvement in the coup in Turkey. But there are still so much more not learn about Buhari’s atrocities both in Nigeria and outside of it. Right now, many Nigerians think Buhari’s involvement with the Turkey coup just started and ended with transferring the funds to the men on ground in Turkey. But it went beyond that. Buhari is neck-deep in his involvement with many Obama schemes around the world.

Even as I write, he has Arabians stationed in Nigeria in absolute luxury, who are his think-thank that give him advice and insights on developments in the Arab/Moslem world. In August last year, few weeks after he assumed power, his government gave visa to Ahmad al-Assir, a Lebanese Moslem, and an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) leader. Many people would think he was the only one given visa by Buhari. No! He was just the only one that was not able to pass through. He would have been part of that think-tank today.

Many observers did not know that “doing a good job” which Obama said of his “grandfather”, Buhari, meant that the old Nigerian Muslim bigot was playing the perfect lackey to him, and to his Muslim backers in their attempt to shift Turkey away from its status as the only Moslem democracy in the middle-east and to plunge it into crisis.

What many people do not know is that Turkey runs a democracy unlike Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and other Islamic countries in the region. It is about the only Arabian country that has democratized and is bidding to join the European Union (EU). But that is not good for Muslim fanatics like Buhari and Obama abhorred that.

Yes, Obama is a Moslem; there is no doubt about that. One does not need lensed glasses to see it; and he has proven it with his actions over time. Agreed, USA does not have any problem with Moslem countries because they have Moslem friends. In fact, Moslem zone with riches are USA preys. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Egypt are good examples. Yet, USA does not fight Jews, Israel or Christians. But Obama is the only American leader that supports to annihilation of Christians as he is aiding Buhari to do all over Nigeria and aided Morsi to do in Egypt. His hatred of Israel also attests to that.

The coup:
Right now there is tension in Aso Rock. Not really about what the people already know, but what they do not know, and the fact that their possibility of their knowing is growing. What with Obama, at a time, calling Buhari every 30 minutes and telling him to do everything to protect his image and that of the USA.

Aso Rock’s major source of worry is their awareness that Turkey leader is just bidding his time for now. He does not want to talk about the USA/Nigeria connection on the coup yet, until after he has visited Vladimir Putin, the Russian President.

Obama’s plans for what to do with Buhari, concerning Turkey, started long before the 2015 elections in Nigeria. In fact, this was what those campaigning for Biafra did not know. They did not know that Obama’s urge to Islamize the entire world was bigger than his consideration for any peoples’ freedom. That was why he turned blind eye to their entreaties for him to lend a hand in their work for their freedom, the freedom of Biafra and its independence.  That was why also, he first plotted with some Northern governors, 12 of them and a deputy governor (all Moslems), who visited him in August 2014, to help in ousting Jonathan from office.

The governors had visited under the guise of fighting Boko Haram, but they all knew that Boko Haram was part of the plot. Does it not surprise anybody that Obama refused to brand Boko Haram a terrorist group until the Senators suddenly rose to their responsibility and started asking questions on why the government had ignored pleas to brand the sect a terrorist organisation? People should understand that when Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram boasted that USA would not be able to subdue them, he knew that the USA leader was their godfather.

Obama’s plot to float Boko Haram was to use it to discredit former President, Goodluck Jonathan, so that he will be disgraced him out of office. Did it not surprise anyone that Obama bluntly refused to sell arms to Jonathan to confront Boko Haram. Not only that, he influenced many important countries not to sell arms to Jonathan, thereby forcing the poor man to look for arms through the black market. Obama did not stop there; he stopped the USA from buying oil from Nigeria, and organized other countries to do same, except perhaps India. Apart from discrediting Jonathan, Obama had his eyes on drastically reducing the Christian population in Nigeria.

Now, with Jonathan boxed into a corner, Obama finally busied himself with his (Jonathan’s) ouster. He dispatched his electoral hatchet man, David Axelrod, to Nigeria, giving him all the resources and assistance needed, to axe Jonathan. Nigerians should understand that when Buhari boasted that if he lost the election that “monkeys and baboon” would be soaked in blood; he knew the power behind him. But did Jonathan have to go? Yes, he did not accept the wicked plan and Obama’s evil political games, so he was ready (and did) walk out of the seat as a gentleman.

But Buhari accepted everything, even for baboons and monkeys to be soaked in their blood, before Obama decided to lend a hand in rigging him into Power. Obama then reached an agreement that he would pay Buhari certain amount of dollars. Part of the bargain was that Buhari was told by Obama to block the forex in Nigeria once he steps into office, so as to raise the said amount monthly and to pay same to a given account in Turkey. Buhari chose United Bank for Africa (UBA) for the wicked transaction. But why he chose the bank, I have not been able to find out.

It is instructive to know that the USA ceased from continuing with the execution of the coup plan when it was certain that it was going to fail. It then pretended to be helping in foiling it. Actually, discontinuing with the coup was their plan B. The plan A was to unseat Erdogan, but when it became apparent that it would not work, they change to plan B. interestingly, that has always been the USA way of doing things. They will create a crisis and then pretend to help in finding a solution when it appears to be getting out of hand.

Now, in sending the money to Turkey, Obama had told Buhari to tell any prying eyes that it was meant to take care of Syrian refugees. As a result of the latest development, what is going on now is that in his bid to “the integrity of Obama and the USA”, Buhari is telling UBA to deny knowledge of the transactions. But Turkey has all the facts. Perhaps they will spill the beans after Erdogan has visited Putin and apologized to him. We wait!

Knesset Committee Votes to Recognize the Armenian Genocide

Although the general Knesset never passed a law recognizing the Armenian genocide that didn’t stop the Education, Culture, and Sports committee from recognizing the Armenian genocide of 1915.

“It is our moral obligation to recognize the holocaust of the Armenian nation,” said the committee Chairman MK Zehava Galon of Meretz in a joint statement formulated with MK Yaakov Margi (Shas). The Ottoman Turks massacred 1.5 million Armenians in World War 1. With a relatively large amount of Armenians in Jerusalem, pressure has been put on Israel over the years to recognize the genocide.

“Each year we instill false hope in the people sitting here,” said Galon. “It is a disservice to the Knesset to continue going on and on about this issue, year after year, without reaching a decision that the State of Israel and the Knesset recognize the genocide of the Armenian people.”

With Turkey agreeing to the rapproachment deal with Israel, it would be surprising if Israel would officially agree to recognize Turkey’s responsibility in the genocide.

Erdogan Restructuring Turkish Military, Ending Its Historic Independence

President Erdogan, continuing to utilize the failed coup attempt of 18 days ago, has ended the historic division between the army and government that has existed for nearly a century.

Wiping the last visages  military independence, Erdogan’s government made statutory decree as par of the three-month emergence decree that the prime minister, chief of General Staff, the deputy prime ministers, justice minister, foreign minister, interior minister, defense minister and force commanders would join to the Supreme Military Council.

This injection of “civilian” governance into the military would be fine in any other country, but in Turkey the Supreme Military Council was designed to remain separate in order to ensure that Turkey would remain secular in its institutions.  In a strange sense it is the military that was built to hold up democracy.

Turkey’s war academies, military high schools, and high schools that train non-commissioned officers have been closed.

Germans Rise Up: Angela Merkel Must Go

Angela Merkel

“Despite the great unease these events inspire, fear can’t be the guide for political decisions,” Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany said on Friday, in reference to the growing outcry  from German citizens regarding her immigration policy.  She has stuck to her belief that Germany should work to keep an open immigration policy and integrate the migrants streaming into her country.

stubbornness can be an asset in politics, but in Merkel’s case it very well may be her undoing. The chorus of voices have grown stronger over the weekend.  The first Merkel “Must Go” rally attracted 5,000 protestors with 1000’s more across the country. More important for Merkel is that a key ally the governor of Bavaria who defended her Willkommenskultur – welcoming culture – towards refugees has now come our against it.

With her citizenry turning against her, she sees her rule slipping away. The question remains, are Germans ready to throw Angela Merkel out and what will be next?

A new survey found that 83 percent of Germans now see immigration as Germany’s biggest challenge.  This is twice as many as a year ago.

Recent attacks have lent strength to the right-wing movement, which has long called for stricter immigration methods, specifically in Bavaria.  This is where Merkel has faced the heaviest criticism from high-profile politicians.

With Merkel’s deal with Turkey looking increasingly likely to fall apart, the last visages of support for an open immigration policy will fade as the Erdogan agreement was the only thing lending fuel to the idea that the immigration situation could be manageable.

The Great Game: Turkey-Israel Detente, Russian-Iranian Cooperation, and the Kurdish Question

The old adage “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” has been an increasingly confirmative rule in middle eastern governing circles.  With the collapse of American hegemony in the region that has caused a resurgent Russia and Iran to take charge of areas that stretch from Iraq to Levant, countries normally at odds with one another have found the strange inclination to actually form alliances to offset the bear and the ayatollahs.

The Turkish-Israeli rapprochement took many people by surprise, but in the current geopolitical realities, the détente makes perfect sense.  Keep in mind Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt all have the same enemy in Iran and fellow Shiite travellers.  Throw Putin’s Russia into the mix and the Sunni states were very quick to find the only other middle eastern nation they could bring in.  The danger of Iran and Russia is so great for these forces, Palestinian issue, which has long been used as a foil to placate the Arab street has been move to the back of the Sunni’s list of priorities.

Israel as the Anchor

Israel is actively seeking a cornerstone role in the wide-ranging alliance forming in the western part of the middle east. One can already see this in the gas deals being built between Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, and Israel.  With Turkey being brought on board, Israel’s role in bringing old foes to the same table is not being missed, especially by Russia, who thought it had Erdogan cornered.

Israel’s game is to offset Russia’s power play to its north by giving a lifeline to Turkey, Russia’s age-old adversary.  For now it seems to be working, although it is clear Russia is remains unnerved by the “Great Game” and is willing to pressure Israel by backing up Iranian, Syrian, and Hezbollah forces on the Golan border.

What About the Kurds?

Kurdistan as it is known by all Kurdish people across the middle east is spread across northern Syria, Iraq, southern Turkey, and western Iran. Turkey’s main challenge is to dissuade the Kurds from working directly with Russia. If they are not able to, then Russia will have  a fifth column of 10 million strong disenfranchised Kurds inside Turkey to use as leverage if needed.

Right now, barring a severe flare up in Israel’s northern border the “Great Game” of the middle east is in its early phases.  Geo-political maneuvering is still fresh and fluid.  Russia may opt to play neutral in the burgeoning alliance system and let Iran and Syria go it alone.  Russia may also be able to convince Israel to remain neutral as well in exchange for security promises.  No matter the outcome, this “Great Game” will not take 100 years like the last one as America’s pull back has shuffled the deck and wrought chaos on what was already considered a chaotic region.

ISIS In Europe, Turkey As a Transit Corridor, and Refugee Deal in Tatters

ISIS Member in Europe

Germans came to a nasty realization that their liberal euphoria in being an open and tolerant society may have been at the very least a bit naive if not down right deadly. The Syrian refugee turned suicide bomber was no psychiatric case, but rather revealed to be an ISIS member after police discovered ISIS material on his phone.  ISIS wasted no time claiming the attack their own. Where there is one ISIS member there are countless others. The attack has left the region shocked.

The idea that Germany would soon be entering the same fate as France was not lost on the Bavarian region, which is now in a state of panic.  This realization is born in an understanding that something far more sinister is at foot in Europe.  As refugees have streamed from Syria into Europe, their transit takes them almost exclusively through Turkey.  The fact is most refugees could have been stopped at the Turkish Syria/Iraq border, but have not been. Actually the opposite has happened, they have been welcomed. Once there they find themselves pushed West into Europe itself.

More than this Turkey ferries and protects ISIS members as they help swell the ranks of fighters in Syria.  Granted the refugees deal has slowed this movement, but Erdogan and company has still allowed it on a slow flame.  The question Europeans need to ask is why is Turkey doing all of this.

The answer is simple: chaos equals conquest.  As an Islamist Erdogan believes it is his duty to reconquer areas taken from him by infidels as well as push Islam to new locations.  For Erdogan ISIS serves the first purpose by bringing chaos to Syria and the rest of the Mesopotamian region, an area Turkey used to control.  Refugees fulfills the second, which is a destabilization of Europe due to overwhelming numbers and increasing ISIS attacks.

Now that Turkey’s turn to autocracy is all but confirmed, the EU entry negotiations will become permanently stalled, paving the way for the nullification of the refugee relocation deal.  If Europeans thought their lives were bad now, in the coming months it will be a lot worse.

Can Israel Broker a Peace Deal Between Cyprus and Turkey?

Nicos Anastasiades

Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades on Sunday and discussed cooperation on terrorism and energy exploration.  The two countries have always been on good terms, but have grown closer in recent years over joint gas exploration.

It was reported earlier in the year that a consortium was formed between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel to create an East Mediterranean alliance.  One of the theories behind the rapprochement between Israel and Turkey was Israel’s desire for Turkey to join up, at least as far as energy goes.

“In the context of the exploration and development of energy resource in the eastern Mediterranean, both leaders concluded that there is no question that resolving the outstanding issues between Cyprus and Turkey would greatly facilitate the pace of the development of future projects, which will proceed according to international law, as well as greatly enhance stability in the region. Therefore, Israel has a strong interest in the resolution of this issue,” said a statement from the meeting.

Given Erdogan’s consolidation of power and movement towards an Islamic Fascist Sultanate, it would seem improbable that peace between Cyprus and Turkey is around the corner.  Yet, in a sea of chaos that the world is increasingly moving towards, anything is possible, especially when energy is involved.
